Andy Warhol Style Pop Art

We're doing the USA for our first topic so I thought I'd concentrate on American artists this term.  I drew a grid of 6 rectangles and photocopied it for the children because I thought some of them would struggle to draw it neatly themselves.  I cut up some of the extra grids and gave the small rectangles to the children to use for their designs.  Once they were happy with their designs I showed them how to use tracing paper to transfer the image onto each rectangle in their grid. 

They were encouraged to use bright colours to finish off their pictures.
